A long desert hike to the Ein Akev springs via the Divshon plateau and ancient Avdat.
On 7 November, follow a linear route from the Midreshet Ben-Gurion and Sde Boker area across desert plateaus to the Ein Akev springs and ancient Avdat. This day requires fitness for sustained hiking.
The programme runs from 08:00 to 16:00. Walking takes 7–8 hours over 16.5 km, with 370 m of ascent. Most of the route is without shade.
